My Story

My passion for travel began at an early age with frequent trips traveling from Michigan to Maryland to visit family. The impressive landscape and Mountains were so intriguing compared to the plains of our hometown. One of my favorite places visited along the route was Frank Lloyd Wright’s beautiful Fallingwater home.
One of my earliest travel memories is my first flight to California at the age of 5. Disneyland was more than I could have imagined. On our drive back home, we visited the Grand Canyon, and while my mom’s suggestion of riding donkeys along the cliffside did leave me traumatized, the breathtaking landscapes I witnessed left an impression on me. At 8 years old, I took my second flight, this time with my grandmother to Connecticut. From that point, my love for travel really took off. By the time I was nine, I was flying back and forth solo to Connecticut.
As a child, some of my favorite places to explore were New York City, Connecticut, Washington DC and Baltimore. These experiences fueled my desire to see the world. Visiting Florida for the first time was an eye opening experience. I was obsessed with all of it – The warmth, the people, the water and the magic of Walt Disney World. It captivated me and sparked something deep within me that continues to this day.
Throughout my childhood, I was fortunate to have two incredible Aunts who played pivotal roles in shaping my travel experiences. Over my summers spent in Maryland, my Aunt Joyce and Uncle George would take us to a family lake house where our love for all things water grew. Swimming, boating and water skiing were top priorities. My Aunt Sharon and Uncle Chuck took me with them on my first Ocean City visit where we rode the waves, played in the sand, my food boundaries were pushed and my disdain for raw oysters was born. Myrtle Beach was another favorite destination from my youth, and I have returned several times to relive the warmth and charm of the area.
As an adult, I have been fortunate to be able to carry on this love for travel with my three sons. Our family has made travel a priority, creating memories together. We have been able to travel to so many destinations together and have spent over 2 months at sea, with more to come. Whether it's visiting Disney or Universal theme parks, cruising, or discovering beautiful locations from Hawaii to the Caribbean, each adventure holds a special place in my heart.
In January 2017, I decided to turn my lifelong passion for travel into a profession and became a travel advisor with Dream Come True Vacations. This has allowed me to share my knowledge and love for travel with others, helping them create unforgettable experiences. Travel is not merely about visiting new places — it’s about experiencing the world and everything in it. From the rich cultures of the Caribbean, the breathtaking landscapes of Hawaii, to the magic of Disney, each journey has enriched my life and deepened my connection to the world around me. I feel incredibly fortunate to continue this adventure with my family, creating memories that will last us a lifetime.
